The painting is rendered in a bold, naive style reminiscent of folk art or outsider art. The color palette is incredibly bright and saturated, with contrasting hues that create a striking visual effect.
FAMILY MATTERS’ background is a light teal blue canvas speckled with numerous small, brightly colored dots – yellow, orange, and pink— creating a playful, almost celebratory atmosphere. The ground is a flat, bright green field with simple, evenly spaced short lines suggesting grass.
There are three central figures, all humanoid but highly stylized and not realistically proportioned. Each figure is dressed in a unique and highly detailed costume.
